Today we’d like to introduce you to Matthew LYNCH.
Hi Matthew, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My story really starts with a deep desire to help people feel better—both physically and emotionally. I began my career as a board-certified surgeon, including vascular surgery. Over the years, I saw how much vein issues could affect a person’s quality of life—not just medically, but also in terms of confidence and how they felt about their appearance.
That experience is what inspired me to open Lynch Vein & Aesthetics. I wanted to create a space where patients could receive expert, medically grounded care for both vein concerns and aesthetic goals. I saw a real need for a place that combined advanced technology, safety, and personalized attention in a more comfortable, non-hospital setting.
So, I built a surgeon-owned MedSpa where every treatment is done in-office by trained professionals—not just to improve appearance, but to truly improve lives. Whether someone comes in for varicose vein relief, skin tightening, or hormone balancing, our focus is always on listening, educating, and tailoring the care to what they need.
For me, it’s not just about procedures—it’s about restoring confidence and helping people feel like the best version of themselves. That’s what drives everything we do.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The biggest obstacle has been educating people about what we do and the value of medically driven aesthetic care. A lot of patients come in not knowing the difference between a MedSpa operated by a surgeon versus one that’s purely cosmetic. They may not realize that treating vein issues or using advanced technology like skin tightening devices requires a deep understanding of anatomy, safety, and long-term outcomes.
There’s also the hesitation around cost—people often assume these treatments are out of reach, without realizing we offer individualized care without memberships or high-pressure sales. So one of my biggest challenges has been breaking through those misconceptions, earning trust, and showing people that our practice is about real results, not just trends.
But overcoming that challenge has been incredibly rewarding. Once patients experience the difference, they become some of our strongest advocates. It’s a reminder that the extra effort to educate and connect personally is always worth it.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Lynch Vein & Aesthetics?
My work is really about helping people feel better, look better, and live more confidently. As a board-certified surgeon, I specialize in vein care and aesthetic medicine, and I’ve combined both into one practice—Lynch Vein & Aesthetics. Everything we do is performed in-office and rooted in medical expertise, whether it’s treating spider veins, tightening skin, or helping patients with hormone balance or medical weight loss.
What sets my work apart is the personalized approach. I take the time to understand each patient’s concerns, goals, and lifestyle so we can tailor treatments specifically to them. I’m hands-on with every procedure, and I make sure we’re using safe, proven technology to deliver real, natural-looking results.
It’s incredibly fulfilling work because I get to see patients walk out not just looking better—but feeling more like themselves again. Whether someone comes in for discomfort from varicose veins or wants to feel more confident in their skin, I see every day how much this kind of care can change someone’s life.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Finding a mentor was one of the most important parts of my journey. Early in my surgical training, I was fortunate to work alongside a seasoned surgeon who really shaped the way I think about patient care. He didn’t just teach me technical skills—he taught me how to listen, how to build trust, and how to always put the patient’s well-being first.
That mentorship had a lasting impact on me. It helped me realize that great medicine isn’t just about procedures—it’s about relationships, education, and integrity. Those values stayed with me when I made the leap to open Lynch Vein & Aesthetics. I wanted to carry that same standard into a space where patients feel safe, heard, and truly cared for.
Now, I try to pay that forward—whether it’s mentoring new team members or simply making the time to educate patients and guide them through their options with honesty and clarity.
